Branding isn’t decoration. It’s the system that shapes how people understand your business — often before they ever meet you. Every touchpoint does one of two things: it either builds trust, or creates friction you don’t see until deals stall. That’s why I treat brand foundations as infrastructure — not something you revisit every funding round. When it’s done right, it compounds over time and starts working for the company, not against it. I’ve always approached design this way. If it’s shallow or purely aesthetic, I’m not interested.

I believe sustainability doesn’t start in operations or reporting it starts in design.

Brand strategy is often the first place where long-term decisions get locked in: how you communicate, what you prioritise, how often things need to be replaced, and whether your systems can scale without constant reinvention.
